A time machine to the seventies, without stops and without neither Austin Powers nor distorted American assessments, Tonite Let's All Make Love in London is the essential document on Swinging London. Made from the inside by one of its protagonists and cheek to cheek with some of the faces of London in the 60's. Divided into 8 movements -The Loss of Imperial Britain, The Dolly Girls, Protest, Pop Music is Everything, Film Stars, Painting Pop, A Scene from the USA and Happy Ending, - the film is a delicacy for 60's fans. Every mother's son is interviewed: writers (Edna O'Brien), actresses and actors (a brilliant and lucid Julie Christie, a puritanical yet super-cool Michael Caine, Lee Marvin giving his Yankee-obtuse vision), pop art artists (David Hockney, with his super-pop glasses) and musicians and managers (Andrew Loog Odham tyrannizing artists in the Studio, Mick Jagger at his sexiest, as never seen, talking about ... Street violence? Strange times. London bubbling. Rounded off with music from The Small Faces, Pink Floyd (with Syd Barrett), Eric Burdon and The Rolling Stones, this is a kaleidoscope of sixties' emotions. It's groovy!
